Repair shop software in practice

Computer and laptop repair shop software

Laptop diagnostics, replacement components and collection belong to the same repair history. RepairWizard keeps the reported fault, agreements and completed work attached to the device rather than scattered across notes.

Open demo

Capture the details at check-in

Choose the computer or laptop category, brand and model. Record the fault, device condition, accessories and customer contact details. Search by repair number, model or customer details to find a repair job again. Customer history lets you look up earlier work without maintaining a separate spreadsheet.

Organise work across your technicians

Assign jobs to staff and update progress during diagnosis and repair. Use the waiting-for-parts status when a replacement component is needed. The list, CRM and service desk views show the same repair records in different layouts. Starter is for one person, Pro supports five user accounts, including the owner, and Ultra has no user-account limit.

Prepare documents and track repair costs

Starter includes thermal repair intake receipts. Pro and Ultra add A4/PDF documents, invoices, parts inventory and analytics. Share a status link with the customer; SMS requires your own provider account. Choose the cloud edition or self-hosted standalone software if you prefer to manage the application and database on your own infrastructure.

Choose the right plan for your repair shop.

Starter is free forever. Pro: 5 € a month, VAT included. Unlimited Ultra: 7.50 € a month, VAT included.

Frequently asked questions

Need help choosing? Email us ↗

Does the software support my industry?

Choose electronics, home appliances, bicycles and scooters, audio and instruments, air conditioning and ventilation, watches and jewellery, footwear and leather goods, printers and office equipment, or a universal preset with custom categories. Self-service configuration is available in Pro and Ultra. In Starter, the platform administrator assigns the industry and can also enable the full module. Switching industries does not change saved job details.

What does the free trial include?

You get access to Ultra for 14 days, with no payment card required. After the trial, choose Pro or Ultra, or continue on free Starter with one user account and up to 200 repair jobs per month.

Do I need to install anything?

The cloud edition works in a web browser with an internet connection. The self-hosted edition is installed on your own computer or server.

Can I work with a team?

Yes. Pro supports up to five user accounts, including the owner, and 1,200 repair jobs per month. Ultra has no user-account or monthly repair-job limit. Starter includes one owner account.

Can I choose only the modules I need?

Yes. With Custom, we agree on user limits, monthly repair-job limits and enabled modules. Your quote shows the price excluding and including VAT.

How can I download my data?

You can download a backup of your workshop database from the dashboard. Each cloud workshop has a separate SQLite database. With the self-hosted edition, the database is stored on your own infrastructure.

Can I see the system without registering?

Yes, open the demo with sample data. Create your own workshop to manage real repairs.

How is SMS billed?

SMS notifications in Pro and Ultra require your own Sendly or SMSAPI account. Your SMS provider charges separately for messages.

What is the self-hosted edition?

The self-hosted edition runs on your own computer or server without a cloud subscription. You are responsible for installation, updates, access security and backups.

Privacy policy

1. Personal data controller

The controller of personal data collected through the RepairWizard website and cloud platform (available at repairwizard.eu) is the owner of RepairWizard. For data protection matters, contact gsmfix24@gmail.com.

2. What data do we collect, and why?

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Registration and management of a SaaS cloud account: name, email address, workshop name, password stored as a secure cryptographic hash (bcrypt), workshop subdomain and IP address (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of the electronic services contract).
  • Repair services and repair management: end-customer data entered by the user (name, phone number for SMS notifications, device and fault description). The user is the controller of their customers’ data, and RepairWizard acts as a processor under Article 28 GDPR.
  • Contact and technical support: handling enquiries via email and forms (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — the controller’s legitimate interest).

3. Database isolation and security

Data security is fundamental to RepairWizard’s architecture. Each registered workshop receives its own physically separate SQLite database. Your workshop and customer data are not stored in a shared table with other organisations.

Export your workshop database from the dashboard. Pro and Ultra include automatic backups. With the self-hosted edition, you manage backups yourself.

4. Cookies and browser storage (LocalStorage)

The website uses cookies and browser storage technologies:

  • Essential (technical): for login, secure user sessions, CSRF protection and remembering cookie consent. Without these cookies, the service cannot function correctly.
  • Functional: for remembering interface preferences, such as light/dark mode and accent theme.

You can change cookie settings in your browser at any time.

5. Data recipients (service providers)

Data may only be shared with trusted organisations supporting the service:

  • Server infrastructure and hosting providers (servers located in the European Union, Hetzner Online GmbH).
  • SMS gateways, such as Sendly and SMSAPI — only when the SMS notification module is used and on the user’s instructions.

6. Your rights under GDPR

Every data subject has the right to:

  • Access their personal data and receive a copy.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Have data erased (the right to be forgotten) or processing restricted.
  • Transfer their data to another system.
  • Object to the processing of their data.
  • Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office — UODO).

7. Data retention period

Data is stored for the duration of the SaaS account. After the service ends, data may be retained for the period necessary to meet legal and tax obligations or until claims are time-barred. Users may request permanent deletion of their instance and database at any time.
